Self Destruct Devices?
People at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology built a new technology that allows devices to self- destruct at will. If you have something important on your phone, iPod, iPad, tablet, etc, and it's been stolen, you can easily destroy the device. The software can be installed to any device. This is helpful to banks and big industries with big information. The phone heats up to about 80 degrees Celsius! The different triggers include: GPS switch or a password enabling app.
My opinion to this technology is that it's a bad idea. I think this because it's very dangerous and can turn very easily. An example would be if you left your phone at a friend's and couldn't find it. You decide it was stolen and self-destruct it. And boom! There goes your friend's couch as your phone catches on fire. It can hurt someone or something.

Self-destruct devices bring the future to now. My opinion, like I stated, is that they’re a bad idea. But, there are more details than what I said.

Cool post. I did the same topic. It's really cool.
ReplyDeleteI also think that it is a bad idea because if a drop your phone or forget that you put it in your backpack than, it catches on fire. I think it is dangerous and a safety hazard.
