3-D Selfies for the New iPhone

There are rumors that the new iPhone can map out your face. Apple might consider making a camera designed for authentication and augmented reality for the next high-end iPhone. This camera can tell how far something is from the lens and it can even make a 3-D selfie. Adding a camera seems like a natural step for Apple because Microsoft and Samsung have been using facial features for years to unlock phones. Even though this can be a great idea, there can be problems. Sometimes the camera has problems recognizing nonwhite faces and features and somebody can hold a picture of somebody to the camera to unlock the device. Apple has focused many years on developing facial recognition technology. I think this is not a good idea because it will be easier for hackers to hack into people's devices.
