Artificial Magnetic Field on Mars

People are trying to make Mars a second home. But without any adjusting we would not be able to live. The air is 100 thinner than the air on Earth, we wouldn't be able to breathe. It is also much COLDER than our planet.  

Many scientist think we can live on it because of frozen water sightings. Since it is not exactly like Earth they would have to make an artificial magnetic field so the radiation levels are not so high. Dr. Jim Green said that they would need a lot of protective equipment to help with the radiation. This proposal is relying on a million year old theory.

I think that it is a good idea to make Mars a second home. If Earth gets to be too small for our large population one day then it would an alternative. We could also do some things that we could never possibly do on our planet. I also think it would be pretty risky. Since It is relying on a million year old idea somethings most likely would have changed in the atmosphere.
