Amazon wants to ship packages to the Moon

Amazon is going to try to start delivering packages to the moon, but why? Amazon wants to ship inflatable "habitats" for future settlers. They would store equipment, resources, and human personnel. The founder of Bigelow Aerospace, Robert Bigelow, states that the "habitats" should be ready in about three years. "It is time for America to return to the Moon -- this time to stay," Bezos told the publication. "A permanently inhabited lunar settlement is a difficult and worthy objective. I sense a lot of people are excited about this."
"Our liquid hydrogen expertise and experience with precision vertical landing offer the fastest path to a lunar lander mission," Bezos says. "I'm excited about this and am ready to invest my own money alongside NASA to make it happen." NASA has not ventured to the moon since 1972. However they do encourage companies to invest in spaceflight.
Benzo also states that the first delivery should be made as early as July 2020, but only if he has support from NASA.

  1. That's awesome I hope they do that because if we could get a head star on possibly terra-forming mars than we should defenitly do that.
